RICHXPROOF
Software provenance

Prove your code came first.

Release archives, commit snapshots, audit reports, model weights: fingerprint them in your browser and anchor the fingerprint on RichX Chain. If anyone later claims they wrote it first, the block time answers.

SHA-256 fingerprint —

Stamping writes RXPROOF:v1: + the fingerprint into one transaction from your own wallet to yourself (0 RICHX + a tiny network fee). Need RICHX?

3 · Verify a stamp — paste its transaction hash

Add the original file above first to check that it matches. Works for stamps on RichX Chain and on the RichX Notary Chain.

What people stamp here

01

Release archives (.zip, .tar.gz) before you publish

02

A snapshot of your repository at a key commit

03

Security audit reports and their findings

04

Trained model weights and datasets

How it works

01

Fingerprint

Your browser calculates the SHA-256 fingerprint of the file. The file itself never leaves your device.

02

Stamp

Your own wallet writes the fingerprint into one RichX Chain transaction. The block time becomes the proof.

03

Verify

Anyone with the file and the transaction hash can check it — here, on the explorer, or with their own tools.

Questions & answers

Can I stamp a git commit?

Yes. Export the commit or repository snapshot as an archive (for example git archive) and drop it in — or paste the commit ID as text. Stamping the archive proves the full content, not just the ID.

What exactly does a stamp prove?

That a file with exactly this SHA-256 fingerprint existed no later than the time of the block it was written into. Change a single byte of the file and the fingerprint no longer matches.

Do you see or store my file?

No. The fingerprint is calculated inside your own browser. Your file never leaves your device — only the 64-character fingerprint is written to the chain, and nobody can turn it back into your file.

Is this a notarial deed?

No. It is a cryptographic proof of existence, not a notarial certification and not legal advice. It does not prove who created a file. Whether a court or authority accepts it as evidence is decided case by case.

What does it cost?

RichX Proof charges nothing. You only pay the RichX Chain network fee — a tiny amount of RICHX — from your own wallet. You can get RICHX on RichXchange.

What if richx.pro disappears one day?

Your stamp stays on RichX Chain. The fingerprint is standard SHA-256, so anyone can recalculate it with ordinary tools and compare it with the transaction on any RichX Chain node or explorer.

What do I need to keep?

The original file, unchanged, and the transaction hash of your stamp. With those two, anyone can check the proof at any time.
